Love

“I receive and experience love and only love each
and every moment of each and every day."

This mantra was gifted to me from Spirit this week in my meditation. It is simple, to the point, crystal clear and, if embraced, incredibly freeing! As I have looked at it “sticky noted” above my computer, I have had surprising emotional responses to these simple words.

I have been uplifted. I have been reminded to be kind to people on the phone when I was angry (with great results, by the way). I have taken many a deep, long breath and re-centered. I have shared this with clients and colleagues. It has reminded me to have a sense of humor about the process of living and working. I have a burning desire to write it in big bold letters across my tax return. I have come to tears as I let the love into my heart. It is amazing how such a simple thing could change how I interact with my self and everything around me.

We know that we are supported by Spirit. Most of the time, we don’t take that support (i.e.: love) in. Our society teaches us to rely on ourselves; to buck up; if we want a job done right, we must do it ourselves. No. We co-create our lives with Spirit. The first half of that is letting Spirit know what we need and want. The second part of creation is receiving that which is created. Everything of the light is created in love. When we allow ourselves to feel that love, the trauma drama melts away and our bodies have the energy to begin to heal.

Go ahead. Say it a few times. Write it on the wall. It won’t hurt! It may even bring a smile to your face. It has to mine.
