Law of Attraction

Law of Attraction: Like Attracts Like

Universal Laws are not really laws as defined by humanity. They are, rather, principals or tenets on which this Universe is built. As we are part of the Universe, these principals apply to our behavior as well.

We have already talked a bit about my favorite, the Law of Attraction. Let talk some more. Why is this my favorite? Simply, because it is how we live. What we put forth, we get back. What we focus on, we attract. It is simple, easy and affects every aspect of our lives. We often forget about the subtle application of this law. The best way to describe the way it works is by example.

Worry begets worry. Worry can be subtle and unconscious and, yet, have a profound impact on what we attract. It is important that we pay attention to our language and thoughts and adjust them as appropriate. We all need to download the events in our lives to understand them and move forward. It is a normal and essential facet of growth. The question is where do you leave those conversations? On an up note? Or do you walk away grumbling; still swimming in the sticky mess? Like attracts like. The longer you stay in the pessimistic muck, the more you will attract that kind of experience.

How many times in a conversation do you use the language of can’t, should, try, scared, or any of a million other negative magnetizers? Each one of these words holds a negative judgment. Destructive attraction happens on many different levels. Two of which are: 1. Through the intent and vibration on the words, themselves. The word should is a judgmental word in and of itself. Should holds the connotation that a person does not know or is not doing his or her best. 2. In the use of the words by the person speaking them. As an example, if I were to should someone, I am attempting to show my superiority, which isn’t true. I would actually be feeling inferior and showing it through this form of projection. The unconscious inferiority attracts energy to validate the unconscious feeling. Without conscious adjustment, I would, most likely, continue to judge in order fill the hole within myself. That would cause me to continue to draw negative energy and the experience of inferiority would worsen. It is a vicious cycle.

As we like to say, it is a simple fix. Change your language and you will change your experience. Change your attitude and you will change the outcome. This is alchemy of the mind. It is one of the most useful forms of magic. Do a little magic today. You will be wonderfully surprised at the changes in your world.
